1
Neuroplastic Changes
(How You Feel)
-
Every 4-6 weeks you have large bursts of new Mind/Body connections that are formed, shaping habit / skill connections
-
Your Body begins to carry less tension
2
Musculoskeletal Adaptation
(How You Function)
-
Every 6-8 weeks our muscles, tendons & ligaments begin to evolve into a new strength & structure.
-
You are more aware of your internal & external "State of Being"
3
Fascial Connective Adaptation
(How You Maintain Form)
-
Every 3 to 6 months your "skin suit" / Superficial Fascia & Deeper Connective Tissue begins to Adapt to new Postures, Positions & Input / Output of Forces.
-
This is the path of Evolution
Phases of Change
Phases of Healing
1
Inflammatory Stage
-
Duration: Typically lasts a few days to about a week

-
Process: This phase begins immediately after the injury and involves the body's natural response to inflammation. Blood vessels constrict to reduce bleeding, followed by the dilation of blood vessels, allowing immune cells, nutrients, and growth factors to reach the injured area. Swelling, redness, and pain are common during this phase.
2
Proliferation Phase
-
Duration: Can last from several days to several weeks.

-
Process: New tissue is generated during this phase. Fibroblasts produce collagen to form a temporary scar, and blood vessels continue to grow to support healing. Depending on the severity of the injury, this phase may involve the formation of granulation tissue, which eventually develops into stronger, more organized tissue.
3
Remodeling Phase
-
Duration: Can last from weeks to months.

-
Process: Collagen fibers are realigned and strengthened during this phase. The tissue undergoes further maturation, and the scar tissue is remodeled to enhance strength and flexibility. The goal is to restore the injured area as closely as possible to its pre-injury state.
